		<description>Thanks for the perspective! My initial reaction was that this new approach would discourage people from having friends with similar interests on Digg, which seems counter-productive. However, as you pointed out, the Digg community &quot;is notoriously young, male and has all the charming qualities that go with being 13 and anonymous,&quot; and because of that I&#039;ve largely quit using Digg, aside from seeing a Digg badge on an article I happen to be reading. Maybe this will make Digg a bit more interesting again.</description>
